2012 End Of Time Or End As We Know It. Conspiracy Theory For Nuts Or Truth?  Me You And The Fakes

I have and will continue to write about the Mayan Calendar 2012 End Times Prophecy and Prophecies (and many other topics). It ranks well into the top of all time predictions and prophecies and for many, well, you may have never even heard of it. Excuse me, but as I write this article after awaking from sleep at 12:45 a.m. for some reason beyond me, I feel the need to tell you within this article on a supposed 2012 End Times event, a little about myself. I have never done this in past writings, and for the most part have remained elusive and anonymous to most. Bare with me as I try and  accomplish two feats here. I promise to give you all you want on the 2012 Mayan Calendar End Times Prophecy here and in other articles on this site as well as insight and facts on Biblical Prophecy, and updates on what I see and hear about the supposed NWO New World Order Conspiracy Theory. Real or Contrived. I will give you unbiased information.

I feel most of you can make your own decisions so I will never on purpose push any idea or opinion on you. I am passionate about some things so if it shows forgive me.

Be well aware that it is difficult for me to write short articles. My intent is to give you worthwhile, accurate, and detailed materials and information. I am not an online marketer, not by a long shot, and have no desire to sell you anything. I do however,  desire to give you accurate information as best possible and to cause you to engage in critical thinking and logical (polite) debate.

I am not an entertainer and certainly lack any acting talent. If you want short and sweet unsupported tidbits, little blips and clips then go and visit the prolific and abundant sites run by online marketers masquerading as concerned and determined Patriots, who in fact are no more than marketers making a living at any cost, and at the expense of leading you astray only desiring to separate you from your hard earned money. These types write short sweet optimized and sensationalized articles designed only to make themselves a profit, and have little concern for fact as long as it keeps you coming back. You know who they are.

I have not lowered myself, nor will I, to that level of deception nor is anyone associated with this site or any endeavor that I may embark upon. So fair warning rendered, here, this site is not that type of place. ( I plan to write, and soon, an article on why we or some of us continue to be attracted to some off these blatant marketers and soothsayers.) Let me say this before I get assaulted by online marketers. There is nothing wrong with being an online marketer. I used the term very loosely and I apologize. However, if that is what you are then say so. No one minds you making a living as many of you offer valuable goods and services. I am speaking to those who masquerade as concerned Patriots, and deceive, and are only out for profit. Just be honest and be yourself. We all have to make a living, but do it honestly and in a manner that brings no harm to anyone.

Never the less, I actually first heard of a 2012 End Times event and the Mayan Calendar around 2006. I ran my own company for nearly 18 years and was to involved with that to use the Internet for more than your typical business methods. Honestly, and as out-dated as it may sound for the year 2006, I pretty much just used email. Then I decided to shut it all down not knowing I was making such a good move as the economy was really sinking. I felt it was just another slump as I had seen several times in the course of my doing business. This time it was not as I had seen before.

Regardless. I shut it down in order to write and publish a book I had long wanted to pen. I had three books I had worked on to some degree. As I tried to sort my thoughts over the first few months I completely changed directions and began another book totally different and on a totally different topic. The first ideas or works I had spent time on dealt with Theology, and another on Psychology, and a third simply fiction. Fiction I found to be difficult. None the less as the economy continued to suffer and the 2008 elections began to circulate, its talks, debates, and campaigns I felt a book geared to a more fitting topic was in order. It ended up being on the subject of Anxiety Attacks or Panic Attacks. No humor intended.

Considering many were losing their savings, equity in their homes, and the fact that the medical community was reporting a huge spike in the number of people showing up at the emergency rooms in fear that they were having a Heart Attack only to find out it was actually an Anxiety or Panic Attack. I felt a book which left as much “clinical speak” out as possible, and also spoke to the loved ones of Anxiety Attack sufferers was perfect, and in order with the need of the times. Many loved ones find it very difficult to understand how debilitating Panic Attacks can be, and the sufferer needs alternative methods to cope with them, maybe even abolish them altogether. So I set out to pen this book which I did finish and published in 2009. Titled “Global Epidemic The Fear That Cripples“. I have never advertised it or pushed the book as it was not my intent. It was simply a goal I had to, wanted to achieve. Maybe I will begin to push it some. Apart from placing it on Amazon, Borders and sites like them I did nothing, and moved on to other goals and projects. I will give you a link to preview it on the page somewhere. You can buy it local as well if you order it with the ISBN number. I am a small fry and only large book stores would have it in stock, but can order it. Maybe I can change that as it is an excellent means to cope and is superb for the loved ones of suffers to begin to understand the complexities of Anxiety Disorders. But, let me get on with the topic at hand.

As I was working on the book I would take breaks and surf the Internet. I also at this same time got very interested in world events. I have always been extremely politically active, and felt it my duty. I served in the Air Force and am a Desert Storm Veteran. I feel the same way as My father did whom I admire and would consider my hero and certainly my role model. He felt we all owed our country our respect, and if possible service in some manner. I could never attempt to feel the shoes of such a great man. Unfortunately he passed away before I published the book. He went to be with the Lord in the year 2007 after a two-year battle with what turned out to be Parkinson’s Disease (another story for another day).

This was another reason to shut down my business, to assist my mother with him during his illness. One thing I will never forget was what he told me right before I joined the Air Force. He was a WWII Veteran and my older brother is a Vietnam Veteran and another brother served in the Coast Guard. All for short stints, but they felt it their duty to serve, and none were drafted, but rather volunteered in times of need, then left immediately upon its end. Myself, it was different. I served 11 years active duty then five years inactive reserves. After Desert Storm they had voluntary separations, but it in reality was more like forced outs for many of us depending on our areas of expertise. It was a time the government was cutting back due to the high cost of the first Gulf War. So I took the early out bonus and left. Was not much, I thought. A year’s salary and medical the rest of my life. I did not fully appreciate or even use the free medical. Now I fully understand the value and importance of just that. Priceless!

Anyway my father had prefered I had not joined and rather join him in his business but, I am from a family with five sons and there is no way we could work together (Many can and I envy that). So my fathers dream of having us all on-board never came to fruition. All five of us did our own things, and upon retirement my father simply sold the business.

As I was going to enter the Air Force my father said something to me that really stuck with me, and I feel well worth repeating. He told me that “going in the Air Force was honorable, but I must fully understand what I was doing”. I feel many never consider this when joining the Armed Forces, especially during times of peace as I did. He said “Son when you sign that contract, the paper where you officially join, what your are in fact and in reality saying is that you (I) are (am) willing to lay down your (my) life for this country”.

Wow, that one hit home! But, after a week or two and considering all the opportunity America had given me and so many others, and the freedoms and liberties we enjoyed, I signed that document with pride and full understanding, as many do. So I am with absolute certainty a Patriot and have taken Oaths to protect and preserve our way of life, more specifically the United States Constitution. “A Piece of Paper” many take for granted today, sadly many politicians. That “Piece of Paper” as it is sarcastically called by many of our elected officials is the life source of our way of life. A living document sealed not only with the signatures of our founding fathers but, also with the blood of all those who have fallen. How could anyone be so blatantly disrespectful of the worlds most powerful document, second only to the Holy Bible. These charlatans seem to have not once considered the number of men and women who have laid down their lives to allow us to enjoy its benefits. While my father, brother and I served, we all came home. There are far to many who did not return home and gave the ultimate to allow us to continue to enjoy the benefits of that “Piece of Paper”. Is it any wonder that it is said, that Veterans are all suspect as potentially being home-grown terrorists? I pray this is not truth, however, if I were one guilty of having defiled the Constitution I would be damn well afraid too.

As I wrote my book and searched the Internet I became shockingly aware of the fact that I was not as informed as I had thought.  If I learned nothing else, I learned to research, and to verify everything said in Washington and at a State level for that matter. Facts are all there for the person willing to take the time to research it. But, most will not and that is why many politicians can stand and blatantly lie about a matter or particular topic. They know the average citizen will never go and check the facts, and that is fact. We have become so caught up in our own little worlds, materialism. If the United States of America’s citizens were in the founding fathers days as we are today, America in no way would have become the great nation it became. NOT A CHANCE IN HELL!

Along the way I discovered many theories in regards to conspiracies thought to actually be underway in some fashion or another. The most prolific being the NWO New World Order Conspiracy, The 2012 Mayan Calendar ending and therefore bringing about End Times events. Nibiru, Planet X, Marduk etc were all highly debated. I became a dedicated researcher. However, I brought with me very disciplined techniques in regards to research as I am a scientist by education.

Simply put, the best research method is this; I take a list of possibilities and ideas. Place them on the table. At the end of the day after carefully researching the lot. I take everything I find false or not true and toss it immediately from the table leaving only those that were not proven untrue and the ones I find to be fact. Then I slide the ones that cannot be substantiated to one side. Then what is left are the ideas and thoughts that I was able to prove to be absolute fact and truth. I place the unsubstantiated ones in a folder and once proven untrue or false toss them, and if later they can be found fact include them with facts. I dare say to many, way to many allow facts to continue to be mingled with untruths and many times claim unsubstantiated items to be fact which is a horrific error with catastrophic results as far as research is concerned.

Having lived 49 years on this marble, and having studied history as did you in school. We know damn well that in times past there have been many factual and genuine conspiracies. Hell, recently you had Bernie Madoff that stole millions. That was a conspiracy. So if we know well and good there are and have been factual conspiracies in the past why would we think they are not being plotted today or will be planned and schemed to take place in the future? Have we evolved to such a level of integrity over the years  that we are all above contriving such schemes? I think not! Actually quite the opposite is true, and you know it is true as well. As a people we have lost much of the morality once displayed and possessed by the large majority. So a conspiracy is certainly more likely in our time than ever before. However we have to do proper research. Propaganda is used to instill in your mind that anyone who would speculate or suggest a conspiracy is a nutter. Well if you fall for that I hate to say it but, you are very naive, and I am being nice here.

In my research since around 2006 I have found much truth in many claims or have found parts to be true. The problem is that there is so much garbage mingled with it, depending on who you listen to, that is makes it very easy for people to dismiss it as baloney. Conspiracy research is as a respected area of research as any other, but many have allowed a small taste of celebrity to make them engage in less than honest methods thereby distorting facts with fiction. Again, to make a profit. Folks this world is in trouble and many of us can feel it, so we better try and figure out fact from fiction, and leave the entertaining for other times and leave the entertainers to entertain themselves.

I am especially shocked when it comes to professing christians as they know it is written in the Bible and in Biblical Prophecy that an End Time will come. They better start paying attention.  Of course the Bible says that “No man shall no the time nor the hour” (speaking of the end). However, it also says in the same context that we can know the time by signs. We may be seeing some of the signs now or maybe not but, if we do not take the time to find out we will never know and be caught off guard and we will fall prey to a deception. A deception, is in my opinion, well underway and many, and I mean many have already fallen prey to it, and some sadly are professing christians. This is not only for Christians. Non-christians had better get it together as well.

Now on with what you may have come here for to start with but, first allow me to say one more important thing. Everything on this site, we/I do not necessarily endorse or believe. I feel I am duty bound to bring you items of interest to allow you to engage in critical thinking in an unbiased manner. If I only brought to you what I felt to be absolute truth, and it turned out I was dead wrong, and I can be, and have been, then it would not bode well for you nor me. So I will deliver to you many times things I do not believe or necessarily support simply to allow you access to the same things I am exposed to and have to sort out in research. Fair, is it not? However, if I happen to say I believe this or that or support this or that, you can be certain I have carefully researched it and I personally feel it fact or have chosen to endorse it. A lot and I mean a lot has been written about the year 2012 and the end of time being related to it. Now 2012 is here!

Modern day prophets and soothsayers have predicted that 2012 more specifically December 2012 better yet December  21 2012. Some even dare to state the hour precisely, never the less they have predicted this day, date  or hour as the End of Time or End of Times as we know it. The Mayan Calendar is at the center of these predictions.

Many claim that concealed within the Mayan Calendar lies the proof. Coupled with cryptic messages and passages in the late Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, there will be an alignment of the galactic and solar planes this year 2012. If that is not enough there have in fact been a few (do not know the number) but, a few NASA scientists who have told us that there will be a solar storm that could reach earth this year 2012. They state that if it occurred it could potentially knock out power grids that could send us into the stone ages or worse. Now if it happen and knowing what an EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) can do, it very well could bring about such devastation.

At the same time there are other researchers that claim a polar shift will occur. There are many online you can find who subscribe to this notion of a polar shift. With these and many more prophecies abound is it likely that 2012 will be the year, the END of TIME or as we know it?

If you study history you will find that many prophet, seers, soothsayers and ordinary folks have predicted the End Time. After Christ was crucified many felt that his return was imminent and HE would establish HIS earthly kingdom. In the following centuries many have predicted HIS return and other End Times events. Many did just as they have with the 2012 Mayan Calender situation. Name day, date and hour.

One of the most famous of these in the recent past was that of Baptist preacher William Miller who predicted that  between March 21, 1843 and March 21, 1844 the end would come. When it did not happen the date was recalculated to be October 22, 1844. Obviously this did not occur and William Miller died in 1849. He was founder of the Seventh Day Adventist.

The new millennium being near provided the perfect setting for the revival of End Time Predictions and Prophecies. The book written in, I think 1970 “Late Great Planet Earth set it in motion by predicting the end of the world and many, many followed.

TV preachers some of whom I cast a very questionable eye at have ramped up preaching the coming or even present Tribulation and imminent return of Christ. Many of whom are raking in record donations and profits from their faithful followers. Not all however, I feel personally many are no different some of the aforementioned marketers online. Profit seekers instead of seekers of truth. I do feel we are living in a time that is ripe or certainly ready for the return of Christ.

Let us set aside for a moment the fact that of all the past predictions none occurred. Let us consider that there have been present day reputable scientists who have reported the potential and in some cases inevitable catastrophes as a result of solar storms, solar flares and by other galactic means. Might this beg the question; is 2012 the end? I feel after a bit of critical thinking you will determine the real answer is that it does not matter. We all know and every religion and belief system out there knows that one day we all are going to meet and end. Either personally or collectively. So how can it concern us? Besides if 2012 is the end there is not one thing you nor I can do about it, is it?

My End or your End, for that matter, could happen today. I could walk in the bathroom and slip and fall into the tub, as I did the other night while sitting on its edge, barely avoiding hitting my head as I fell backwards (It was empty lol), but it could happen to any of us in a way in which we could never know or imagine. We can be careful and take all the precautions we wish however, something still could happen to cause our personal end. We see it every day on the news. I am sure not one of the people they report on even dreamed it would be there last day or their personal End (On Earth). Truly we really cannot do anything about it can we?

All the same there is a growing belief and fear that this year, 2012 will be the End. Maybe, just maybe this will cause many to reevaluate their lives. Cause us to begin to live by and within the convictions we claim to have and to live by the belief systems we claim to have. Maybe we will connect with that person we should have connected with years ago or cause us to make amends with a person which is long over due. Just maybe such a growing fear will induce or cause us to become a more caring and concerned person in regard to our fellow man or woman.

Wow I just had an epiphany. Maybe the Mayans got it correct after all. Just maybe 2012 will bring and end to the world as we know it!
