Many scientists around the globe are agreeing in unison that life as we have known it very well could end around December 2012. Many of these scientist believe this will be brought on by humans themselves while others believe the events in 2012 will be a result of nature or mother earth herself. Many religious and spiritual leaders feel this will be the onset of a soon coming judgment day.
Whatever your belief is I find it extraordinary that all sorts of groups have this single time frame targeted…December 2012!
I will list the more common reasons given among various groups as to why the end is upon us. It is refereed to by many names and phrases. End-times, end of the age, end of the world, rapture, judgment day, judgment hour. Second coming, and many others. Far to many to list.
Seven of the most common reason given by scientists, religious leaders and others:
Reason #1 – The End of the Mayan Calendar:
The most researched has been the Mayan Calendar. Many claim the end to be December 21t 2012 because the Mayan Calendar ends on December 21st 2012.
The Mayans are said to have been a highly advanced and intellectual race that was able to obtain technologies that even people of today can not comprehend. While the y were said to be highly advanced they were also a bloodthirsty race which involved the sacrifice of virgins, and the ability to build extremely accurate astrological device from stone. They lived in an era right before
the previous global event of like kind.
Among the high tech abilities the Mayans had was the ability to calculate the lunar moon as 329.53020 days. Only 34 seconds off from current technologies!
Reason #2 – Sun Storms:
The News Media does not like to cover topic it finds difficult to explain with the exception of the esoteric or supernatural channels now available since the dawn of cable television.
Scientists have been extremely busy observing the sun and it latest activities which have mesmerized many. Over the last few years the sun has intensified its radiation or radioactive energy to level never known in pat times. This was made possible by new high tech equipment. It is now certain that the suns activity is without doubt cyclic. There is an 11 plus year cycle. The peak of this
next or current cycle is …..you guessed it December 2012.
The last significant solar storm damaged power grids and destroyed satelites orbiting the earth. Of course this was not covered well on main stream media, but if you look hard enough you will find that it did occur. This coming peak of the suns cycle is being predicted to make past events pale in comparison.
Reason #3 – The European Atom Smasher:
Scientists in Europe are in the final stages of constructing the world largest particle accelerator. A simplified description would be; it is a 27 kilometer tunnel designed to smash atoms together. This is being accomplished in hopes it will determine what makes the universe tick.
This project has caused many to have serious concerns. Many scientists have expressed their concern on flipping the on-switch on this device. It is felt by some to possibly cause all kinds of lethal events such as; black-hole, potential to turn globes matter into something the size of a basketball.
Ah, and yes the first experiment is scheduled at the end of 2012!
Reason #4 – According to Religion
Many religions are giving very similar predictions based upon their study and interpretations of their respective sacred books and documents. Like the Bible, the Chinese I Ching (Book of Changes) and many Hindu teachings. All agree on a day at the end of December 2012. I suspect as we draw closer that many others will come forward with previously with-held secrets. I highly suspect
that the Vatican will be one of them.
The Bible reveals this as the date of the Armageddon or the final battle between good and evil as well as Judgment Day.
Reason #5 – Most Powerful Volcano on Earth
The largest volcano in the world is right up under Yellowstone National park right here in the USA. Many geologist and other scientists have lost a many a night leep over the fact that a cyclical eruption which occurs every 650000 years is long over due at Yellowstone. It is odd as most cyclical earth events are predictable and timely. This one is over due and many are predicting the event to take place at the end of 2012.
An eruption at Yellowstone would send so much ash into the atmosphere that it would block the sun and bring on an ice age to last 15000 years. The pressure which is monitored at Yellowstone as been building. Is it likely?
Reason #6 – The Physicists
At Berkley University Physicists have used super computers to complete highly complex formulas. They have crunched the numbers and have concluded that a major catastrophe is due in 2012. 99 percent of the scientist involved agree on the time frame of 2012. Such an event would wipe out species, and would certainly affect every person and animal on the face of the earth.
Reason #7 – Polar Shift
It is thought by scientist that the earths poles shift every 750,000 years. The magnetic field surrounding earth and protects the earth from most of the suns radiation. The poles make up this protection. A pole shift would completely change much of the protection we get from the magnetic field. During a pole shift the magnetic field can slowly dissolve or go all at once. It is thought that this could last a long a 100 years. Absence of the protective magnetic field for such a time would be a certain catastrophe.
And yes it i well overdue. about 30,000 years late and thought to possible take place in 2012.
